FHG - The Five K

Bring the family out and take a 5k tour around Americus!  Enjoy some paved roads as well as gravel then come back in for good old fashioned gravel hospitality!  Grab some treats from Hostess Brands, hydration from Skratch Labs and help us cheer in fellow runners!  Stay a little longer for the Finshers of the Juniors race and The Journey ride.  Enjoy the morning!

I can not get you onto much gravel in 5k's.  I can show you the town of Americus, get you about a mile of gravel and get you back in time to enjoy some warm drinks and Hostess Brands products!  My hope for the 5k is you enjoy the challenge of a good quick run, walk, jog in the April crisp morning air and stick around to cheer on the 10k runners and the bike riders.  Enjoy the town park, playground and hospitality.

Family Fun run...will there be podiums?  I like to go fast!!  Well of course there are podiums!!  Look.  We all like to be rewarded for a good hard effort, right?  All Finishers will receive a Finishing Award.  I'm not even sure I could run a 5k right now...you deserve a prize!!  We will have age range finishing podiums with podiums prizes.  The Age ranges will be determined prior to race day.  I'll be honest.  I want to see sign up numbers first.
